Car Haulers
As the name implies, car haulers are designed to transport one or more vehicles and are favorite tools for bringing vintage cars to shows or for delivering a sold car to the client or purchaser. These trailers allow you to get the car where it needs to be with less risk of damaging it along the way, either through normal wear-and-tear or through the various hazards you encounter on the road. It also lets you keep the mileage (and therefore the value) lower.
Tilt Trailers
These are fairly unique trailers in that the deck doubles as its own ramp. This is accomplished with hydraulics that tilt the back end of the deck down until it touches the ground, allowing you to load it more easily. You don’t need to waste space or storage with an external ramp, either!
Dump Trailers
Similar to tilt trailers, dump trailers also use hydraulics to tilt the back of the deck downwards. Unlike tilt trailers, though, they utilize high sidewalls and a gate at the back, making them great for transporting and dumping large quantities of loose material. Gravel, dirt, yard waste, and other debris are easy to load up and dump where you need them, making them ideal for agricultural and landscaping work.
Utility Trailers
Some of the simplest and most general-use trailers around, utility trailers have a simple, flat deck and low- to medium-height sidewalls. They also tend to have a back gate. They’re perfect for transporting just about anything that will fit in the bed and won’t overburden the trailer.
Enclosed Cargo Trailers
Like utility trailers, these are all-purpose models, but there are a few distinct differences. First and foremost, they’re fully-enclosed with walls, a ceiling, and one or more lockable doors. This protects the cargo from the elements or potential thieves, and while it restricts the size, shape, and amount of cargo somewhat, it also makes for more secure transportation.
